Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

This is a cute little establishment. Went with two other moms and our kids. Thereβs mostly street parking which can get kind of crowded on weekends. There were two other parties already there so they seemed to be doing well. They were running a little behind, but we had one member of our party that couldnβt find parking so she was running late too. We were kind of disappointed they didnβt have clotted cream, but I know that can be kind of difficult to get in the United States. The scones were delicious and we enjoyed the experience. Would probably go back again sometime.

We had my daughter's 5th birthday here! Everyone really loved the shop. We had some children and mixed gendered guests in attendance, our 15-20 guests fit comfortably with some tables to spare for our own activities to enjoy and everyone enjoyed themselves! The buffet they created for us was a hit with the guests. We all loved the tea options and each table found a teapot to use that they really enjoyed. All of our guests enjoyed the hat room and there was even a nice space to be able to take photos! It seemed to be family ran, I actually really enjoyed this, they had their teenagers involved in servicing our party and im thrilled to support a small family business.

I have been to this venue in the past with service from the owner and other ladies, it was fine, not fancy but fun. What a disappointment today! They were running late, the young, male server was very nice but not exactly adding to the ambiance you expect for β high teaβ, especially with no music. We were invited to play on their jukebox but I wasnβt about to bend down and figure out a system Iβm not familiar with. Finally, finally our warm tea arrived and two tea trays for 7 people for a total of 5 plates plus 4 pots of tea. Very poor selection! Some home made which was good, some fruit/ eggs/ few cheese cubes, all tiny and the rest appeared to be from a big box store- two bite brownies, cookies/ pretzels.. see photo. For the cost $227 for 7 people it definitely felt like shrink- flation or a weekend hobby for someone. For some reason the only other occupied table was seated next to us, arms reach, very awkward. It ended our get together. We are a diverse group and have experienced β high teaβ all over the world/country/local area and never have I had such a mediocre and sub par experience. I love to support local small businesses but this is best avoided. Cannot recommend unfortu
